New patients book by phone. Online scheduling is available only with Dr. Saba Aftab, Dr. Srihari Daggumati and Cassandra Arvelo, PA-C. Visits with any other provider, and any appointment for an ear concern such as infections, hearing loss, ear pain, tinnitus, vertigo, unsteadiness or other ear illness, must be booked by phone. Hearing, dizziness or ear problems also call for a visit with the audiologist. The office is open Monday 8:30 am to 6:30 pm, Tuesday through Thursday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, and is closed on weekends. If insurance requires a referral, it should be in hand before the appointment date. Arriving more than 15 minutes late may mean the visit has to be rescheduled.
Insurance: the office does not participate with Horizon NJ Health, is not accepting new patients with any Medicaid Advantage plans, and does not participate with many HMO Medicare plans. Patients can call to confirm their plan.
Hearing care is provided in partnership with Hearing Professionals of South Jersey, a separate site linked from this practice's website. That group also runs the cochlear implant program, working with doctors at the University of Pennsylvania. Remote care hearing aid programming is available only on select hearing aid models and cell phones.
Surgical services include endoscopic surgery for chronic or recurrent sinusitis and nasal polyps, nasal breathing surgery, ear tube placement, eustachian tube surgery, pediatric care, sleep apnea surgery, and thyroid and parathyroid surgery. Most thyroid and parathyroid surgery patients go home the same day. According to the practice, its surgeons lead and take part in monthly South Jersey Thyroid Club meetings with endocrinologists and radiologists.
Treatment plans are personalized, and allergy care starts with in-house testing to identify triggers.
