A-List Hair Studio occupies the third floor of the Gadsby Building in Portland's Pearl District. The building dates to 1906 and was once a furniture warehouse; it was recently renovated while keeping its original character. Other tenants include designers, architects, artists and stylists.

The salon offers cuts for women, men and children, along with bang and maintenance trims. Its color menu runs from smudge and gloss, toner or glaze services through full color, partial and full highlights, and balayage or ombre. Color changes and creative color are priced after a consultation. Clients can also book hair and scalp treatments, blow outs and up-dos, and a free consultation is available.

Owner Andrea Harris opened the salon in 2005. The team includes stylists with training at several academies and ongoing education, and the studio also has a stylist who manages day-to-day operations. Clients can book appointments online through the salon's website, or call or email the studio.
