Every new client can book a free in-person consultation with any stylist before booking, usually lasting 15 to 30 minutes. The stylist talks through the result the client wants, suggests services and gives an individual quote. Pricing can differ between stylists based on experience, specialty skills and demand.

Booking requires a credit card on file, and online requests are confirmed by reception staff by phone before the appointment is final. Changes or cancellations are asked for at least 48 hours ahead. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged half the service, and no-shows are charged the full service. Some appointments take a non-refundable deposit that can be moved with more than 48 hours' notice. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be seen at the artist's discretion. Adjustments or corrections within one week of the first appointment are made at no cost.

Bridal hair and makeup packages are offered, with a complimentary consultation by phone. Stylists can travel to a home, venue or hotel for wedding services, or the bride and her party can come to the salon. A hair and makeup trial before the wedding day is recommended.

The salon describes its staff training as in-depth and consistent. Training begins at hire and continues through each stylist's career. Stylists move through a performance-based level system that considers demand, career path, guest satisfaction and retention, performance and education, and level is not necessarily tied to years of experience. Stylists who reach a certain level become educators and work with an associate to train new staff.

The salon says it learns each client's style, routine and personality so that services are tailored to them, with the goal of leaving clients feeling cared for, confident and renewed.
