Bloom Salon opened in 2022 on South Main Street in Mount Airy, Maryland. It was founded with the goal of making salon visits feel relaxing, and Amanda Smith, its owner, works alongside four other stylists in the space.

About

Each stylist rents a chair and runs their own schedule and bookings through the salon's GlossGenius page. Children are only allowed in the salon with an appointment, so clients are asked to arrange childcare before their services.

Color is a major part of the menu, with balayage, partial highlights, highlights with retouches and glossing, blonding sessions and combined color-and-cut appointments.
