The owner, Therese, began her career at Toni & Guy in London and later worked in Stockholm at Toni & Guy and at the Björn Axén salon. She specializes in hair extensions and precision haircuts. 505 Salon is her second salon venture.

Color is a major part of the menu, covering partial and full highlights, base color, full color, toner, gloss, partial and full balayage, and base and highlights. Colorists include Vikki, who works in dimensional blonding and lived-in color, and Staci Anderson, a senior color expert with a background at Vidal Sassoon and Frederic Fekkai.

The salon is certified as a Great Length salon and as a Cezanne salon. For extensions it offers Great Length and Keratip, weft and invisible bead (IBE) extensions, and tape-ins. The Cezanne Keratin Smoothing Treatment is free of formaldehyde and is positioned as an alternative to the Brazilian Blow Out with a longer-lasting effect.
