Timothy R. Miller, MD

Timothy R. Miller, MD, owns Refreshed Aesthetic Surgery & SkinCare in Aliso Viejo, where he opened his own private practice. He is double board certified in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and has offered facial cosmetic surgery to Orange County residents since 2005.

His training includes a fellowship in facial plastic surgery and a five-year surgical residency in face and neck surgery. He specializes in eyelid procedures and face and neck lifts, and he performs rhinoplasty, customizing each operation to the patient's anatomy and goals. He also administers the practice's non-surgical laser treatments. Many patients come to him about eyelid bags, excess skin and wrinkles around the eyes, and after a fat repositioning procedure he uses 3-D imaging to follow patients over time.

He has contributed to scientific journals, meetings and industry literature, and he has lectured on eyelid surgery techniques. One of his articles on fat repositioning for lower blepharoplasty was published in JAMA Facial Plastic Surgery. He has also created a line of non-invasive skincare treatments and designed a clinical trial measuring product efficacy after laser skincare treatments, which the practice says won an award. The Orange County Medical Association gave him its 2016 Physician of Excellence award, and the practice describes him as a top Orange County plastic surgeon.
