Shenara Musthaq

Shenara Musthaq is a dermatologist who treats patients of all ages at Heights Dermatology and Laser. Her practice centers on diagnosing and treating disorders of the skin, hair and nails, mainly through medical dermatology, with evidence-based care tailored to each patient. Her cosmetic procedures include laser treatments, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PRP therapy and chemical peels. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Anthropology from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical College in Brooklyn, New York. During medical school she completed a dermatology research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She then did an internal medicine internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, followed by a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center covering general, pediatric, skin of color, laser, cosmetic and dermatologic surgery. She has contributed to peer-reviewed publications, a book chapter and national presentations on melanoma, laser therapy and patient decision aids.
