Marc Avram, MD

Marc Avram, MD, is a dermatologist at Heights Dermatology and Laser. He has worked in private practice for almost two decades. He is board-certified in dermatology, trained at Harvard Medical School, and holds a clinical professor appointment in dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. He treats medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, with a particular emphasis on hair transplantation and cosmetic dermatology. He also uses Fraxel laser treatment to address photoaging, fine lines and wrinkles. His books include Procedural Dermatology (McGraw-Hill, 2015), two editions of Color Atlas of Cosmetic Dermatology (McGraw-Hill, 2011 and 2007), Hair Transplantation (Cambridge University Press, 2010) and Laser and Light Source Treatments for the Skin (Jaypee Publishing, 2013). He serves on the editorial boards of several peer-reviewed journals and has lectured as an invited speaker at professional meetings around the world.
