About
Shawdae is a Senior Stylist and the Creative Development Lead at MeKer Beautique, and the salon's natural hair specialist. She trained at Aveda Institute Atlanta in 2013 and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2014. Her career started as a shampoo assistant in a natural hair care salon.
She opened a salon suite called Glam'd by Dae Studio in 2016, then moved to Texas and joined MeKer Beautique in 2023. Her work centers on natural hair care, locs and protective styles, and she also offers relaxers, color and custom wigs. She has styled hair for weddings, special events and photo shoots, and has more than ten years of experience. She is building a new clientele at the salon.
