Roshani Patel

Roshani Patel co-founded Galena Aesthetics, where she works as a nurse practitioner in aesthetics and facial plastic procedures and is listed with the credential APRN. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honorary status from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Nursing in 2000, then a Master of Science in Nursing from South University in Florida, graduating with high honors. Her nursing career started in head and neck surgery in 2000, immediately after graduation.

She has worked in facial plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery since 2000, assisting on blepharoplasty, brow lifts, facial and neck lifts, otoplasty, cheek and chin implants and nasal procedures. She co-directed a facial plastic and cosmetic surgery fellowship at the University of Chicago, and spent roughly two years in neurosurgery before returning to plastic surgery. Her experience with Allergan and Galderma injectable lines is extensive.

Her non-surgical training covers multiple certifications in facial rejuvenation, lower face rejuvenation including jowls and submental contouring, mid-face volumization with hyaluronic acid fillers and biostimulatory injectables, and advanced neuromodulator and microtoxin placement. Her focus areas are facial balance, the lips and perioral region, and temples and tear troughs. She has worked with many laser devices across her career. At consultation she reviews medical history and skin goals, offers individualized skincare guidance before treatment, and takes gender and ethnicity into account when assessing patients and planning treatment.
