Maria Pancorbo

Maria Pancorbo co-founded Galena Aesthetics, where she practices as an Aesthetics Nurse Practitioner and is listed with the credential APRN. Her education includes a Bachelor's degree from the University of Central Florida, and later a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Chicago.

Her injectable and procedural training covers advanced botulinum toxin and dermal filler work, intensive lip filler technique, and biostimulators that build collagen for facial contouring. She has also trained in complication management, sclerotherapy, and platelet rich plasma applied to hair restoration and facial rejuvenation, along with medical weight loss management. She has finished several cosmetic laser programs offered by manufacturers and has used many laser devices for ablative and non-ablative treatments on the face and body.

Her clinical interests center on dermatology concerns including texture, pigmentation and elasticity, and she has treated patients with acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis and melasma. Vascular health and its effect on facial appearance is a specialty; she has performed intravenous ablations, phlebectomy and sclerotherapy. A functional medicine perspective shapes how she considers nutrition, lifestyle and hormone balance in relation to skin. Before and after Helix treatments she gives individualized skincare guidance and helps clients through recovery. She treats men and women of all ages, including older patients with aging-related concerns, and sees Spanish-speaking patients in Spanish.
