Rose Vargas, NP

Rose Vargas is a nurse practitioner at Back to Basics Pediatrics. She holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Pediatric Primary Care from Rush University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Elmhurst College, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northern Illinois University.

She has delivered primary and specialty care to pediatric patients in both primary care and transitional care settings. She previously managed pediatric inpatients at Lurie Children's Hospital and cared for patients from newborns through adolescents at Town and Country Pediatrics. Her caseload includes complex medical cases, developmental and behavioral concerns, and health promotion and preventive care.

She speaks Spanish fluently and works well with families from a variety of backgrounds.
