About
Richard Burgess is an owner, stylist and artistic director at FrancesRay Jules, with over 10 years of experience in styling and makeup. His background includes time as Key Makeup Artist for MAC Cosmetics and nine years as a retail manager in fast-paced retail environments. He created the Jules Makeup cosmetics line and the Wedding Day Bridal Expo.
He trained at Trucco Makeup Training Courses and holds certifications in Bio Ionic, Depileve waxing and Keratin Complex Express Blow Out. He has completed the Genometrics cutting course, has Sebastian product knowledge certification and is Wella color educated.
He specializes in highlighting and accenting, and in photo styling for wedding photos, new license photos, passport photos and black and white photos. As an editorial artist he has created hair and makeup for Platinum Wedding magazine covers, and he has been featured in Platinum Weddings Magazine and editorial print. He has worked with performers Paula Cole, James Taylor and Keith Lockheart and members of the Boston Pops at the NBA Finals.
