About

Megan Hively teaches yoga, meditation and dance fitness in the Cornelius area and also teaches at iShine. She started teaching yoga in 2012 and holds a master's degree in exercise science. She holds E-RYT 500 and CAP credentials, and she is a Registered Yoga Instructor through Yoga Alliance. Her classes blend Ayurvedic ideas with inventive sequencing, breathwork and expressive movement, set to contemporary music. At iShine she offers Ayurvedic health coaching as a board-certified Ayurvedic practitioner with more than 2,000 hours of Ayurveda training. Her sessions cover identifying an Ayurvedic constitution, lifestyle habits and a daily self-care routine. Away from the studio, she works one-on-one as a personal trainer, Thai Yoga Bodywork practitioner and Behavioral Change Coach. She is also Yoga Coach for a college soccer team and Fitness Coach for the Charlotte Checkers' CheckMates.
