Maria Amar, PA-C

Maria Amar is a physician assistant (PA-C) at Geria Dermatology, where she works in both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from Hofstra University, earned cum laude, and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from MCPHS University.

Her clinical training covered several medical specialties in the Boston area, and she completed an advanced dermatology fellowship. She has also practiced dermatology in the New York City area, caring for patients with diverse backgrounds and skin types.

She takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options, so patients can take part in decisions about their own care. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
