Laurie Hicks is the Registered Dietitian at Water House Wellness, where she designs and leads the nutrition program for members and clients. She has worked as a Registered Dietitian since 2019 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition & Dietetics from Simmons University. Earlier, she provided medical nutrition therapy to patients in long-term care and built nutrition plans for military personnel focused on performance, recovery and resilience. Her areas of expertise include weight management, cardiovascular disease, hypertension, diabetes, prenatal and postnatal nourishment, digestive concerns such as constipation, gas and bloating, IBS and microbiome imbalances, food intolerance or allergy, low energy, sports and performance nutrition, and the relationship between food and body. She provides both telehealth and in-person nutrition counseling. A free 20-minute introductory consultation is offered. The initial 60-minute visit reviews health and nutrition history along with diagnostic lab values, and 30-minute follow-up sessions are scheduled at a frequency suited to each client.
