Kelly Austin

Austin is a naturopathic doctor and the founder of Prime Wellness, which she opened more than a decade ago after moving to San Diego to start a family wellness practice. She earned a naturopathic medical degree in 2004 from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario. Before relocating, she worked in Canada at several clinics, among them one at the postal service headquarters in Toronto, one at Nissan Canada and several Goodlife gyms.

Her clinical focus is endocrinology, with particular attention to bio-identical hormone treatment, thyroid conditions and diabetes. She also prescribes cardiovascular medication for cholesterol and blood pressure concerns, and offers nutrition and supplement recommendations aimed at heart, blood pressure and blood sugar health. She is a member of the National Lipid Association and sits on the advisory committee for hormone prescribing.

She combines medical weight loss protocols, including GLP-1s and peptides, with IV therapy. She believes everyone can reach wellness.
