Kelly Austin, ND

Dr. Kelly Austin, ND, founded Prime Wellness over a decade ago and leads the practice. She trained at The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she earned a naturopathic medical degree in 2004, and she also holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Western Ontario.

Her clinical work began in Canada, where she practiced at several clinics, among them one at the postal service headquarters in Toronto, one at Nissan Canada, and several Goodlife gyms. She later moved to San Diego to open a family wellness practice.

She specializes in endocrinology, with a focus on bio-identical hormone treatment, thyroid conditions and diabetes. She prescribes cardiovascular medication for cholesterol and blood pressure concerns, sits on the advisory committee for hormone prescribing, and is a member of the National Lipid Association.
