Karan Chopra

Karan Chopra is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Miami, Florida, and he heads Chopra Plastic Surgery. He holds a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery appointment at the University of Miami and, from 2026, an Assistant Professor position on the Scholar Faculty of Florida International University's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. His practice is limited to the face and neck. He is known for deep plane facelifts designed to look natural, and he also performs deep neck lifts, eyelid surgery and brow lifts.

He completed a plastic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then several specialized fellowships. The aesthetic and oculoplastic fellowship under Dr. Mark Codner covered deep plane and ponytail facelifts, endoscopic brow lifts, and upper and lower blepharoplasty. He studied advanced deep plane facelift technique with Dr. Bryan Mendelson.

He received the Miller-Coulson Academy Award for Clinical Excellence in 2019 and a Distinguished Teaching award from the Society of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2017. He was also recognized by the National Academy of Plastic Surgeons as a Top 10 Plastic Surgeon for 2024 and 2025. Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine gave him a Top Doctor Rising Star honor, and South Florida Business & Wealth presented him with a 2023 Apogee Awards Rising Star honor. Colleagues refer to him as a surgeon's surgeon, and he is often asked to lecture other practitioners. He has authored ten peer-reviewed publications.

For non-surgical treatments, planning begins with facial anatomy and long-term results. At consultation, he evaluates facial structure, volume distribution and skin condition before recommending any option. He also treats out-of-town patients from across the country and abroad.
