Karan Chopra, MD

Karan Chopra, MD, is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Miami, Florida, whose practice is limited to face and neck procedures. He holds a Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery position at the University of Miami and has served as an Assistant Professor on the Scholar Faculty of Florida International University's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine since 2026. He has written ten peer-reviewed publications. The National Academy of Plastic Surgeons named him a Top 10 Plastic Surgeon in 2024 and 2025. He has also received the Miller-Coulson Academy Award for Clinical Excellence, a 2023 Rising Star Top Doctor recognition from Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine, and a 2023 Apogee Award from South Florida Business & Wealth.

His training started with a residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a dual aesthetic and oculoplastic fellowship under Dr. Mark Codner. He later studied advanced deep plane facelift technique with Dr. Bryan Mendelson. The fellowship concentrated on facial rejuvenation, including deep plane and ponytail facelifts, endoscopic brow lifts, and upper and lower eyelid surgery. Other surgeons and medical staff select him for their own procedures.

His care is built around each patient's personal goals. He starts by learning what a patient wants before proposing a treatment plan.
