Jordan Pritzker

Jordan Pritzker is a member of the Women's Health & Wellness physician staff and a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park. He has practiced since 1990. From his tenure as Physician-In-Charge of the Ann and Jules Gottlieb Women's Comprehensive Health Center at that medical center, which ended in September 2009, he is also a clinical Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women's Health at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed a BA at Rollins College from 1978 to 1982 and an MD at the University of South Florida College of Medicine from 1982 to 1986. He then trained in Ob/Gyn at Maimonides Medical Center from 1986 to 1990, where he was chief resident, and earned an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business from 1997 to 1999. He has been board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists since 1992, holds the FACOG credential and is a Nassau Academy of Medicine Fellow. His clinical interests include gynecologic ultrasound, gynecologic cancer screening, alternatives to hysterectomy, chronic pelvic pain, vulvo-vaginal disorders, abnormal vaginal bleeding and menopause management. He has published many articles in the medical literature and has served as editor of several medical journals and websites. He is active on committees with the American Medical Association, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the Medical Society of the State of New York.
