Joanie Jackson

Joanie Jackson founded Freedom Integrative Wellness and is its owner. She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with almost 20 years of clinical work in cardiac and progressive care, neurosurgical intensive care, primary care and functional medicine. Her main focus is integrative oncology, supporting patients before, during and after cancer treatment, and she also treats people living with complex chronic illness. Her integrative oncology training was completed through the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health, under Dr. Nasha Winters. She holds mistletoe therapy certification from PAAM and advanced ozone therapy certification trained under Dr. Frank Shallenberger. She keeps studying metabolic and integrative oncology, and she gives talks on functional and integrative medicine for healthcare professionals and community groups. In 2026 she presented at the NCIMS Synergy Conference on functional medicine and patient care.
