About
JC (James) is a stylist at Makin' Waves Salon who joined the family business at 16. He graduated from cosmetology school at 17 and obtained his cosmetology license a few months later. He then completed the assisting program at Salon Crew, working closely with educators for the Toni & Guy chain of salons, and completed an intensive program of cutting and coloring classes.
He worked as a stylist at Kandlyand at the Playboy Mansion in 2011 and 2012, has worked in live fashion shows and major entertainment events, and has done modeling jobs for fashion. His specialties are precision haircutting, hair color, smoothing treatments and straighteners. Clients include CEOs of major corporations, athletes, celebrities and local residents. He also created the men's hair care line Gentleman's Gold after clients asked for a product he could not find elsewhere.
