Christal

Christal works as a stylist at Makin' Waves Salon, bringing a lengthy cosmetology background to the role. She started an apprenticeship and coursework at James Albert Academy at age 16. Her cosmetology license and high school diploma, both from Newport Harbor High School, were completed in the same month. She has held a cosmetology license since 1999. Her education also includes a trip with James Albert to Vidal Sassoon in London, where she met instructors and other industry professionals, and a 2002 trip to the Dominican Republic with Davines for the World Wide Hair Tour. She is a Davines color specialist. Before joining Makin' Waves, she worked at a men's spa and at other salons. Her specialties are wedding hair and makeup and men's grooming. Services span all hair work: women's and men's cutting and color, wedding styling, and total makeovers.
