Janet Pragit

Janet Pragit, DO, is a staff physician at Modern Day Wellness in Gilbert, where she is on staff one day a week as an employee of the practice. She can also act as supervising physician in cases where Arizona does not permit a collaborative practice agreement.

Her training started at Western University in Pomona, California, where she earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She then completed a family practice residency at Midwestern University and Tempe St. Luke's in Phoenix, and she has spent almost twenty years caring for patients of all ages in family practice.

Her specialty is bioidentical hormone therapy and thyroid replacement, which she has practiced for more than 20 years. She encourages patients to take an active part in their own healthcare, so that patient and physician can work together to maintain their health.
