Janelle Alexis

Janelle Alexis runs Janelle Alexis Salon in Houston, where she serves as owner, educator and master stylist. With more than two decades behind the chair, she has worked across color, extensions and makeup. The Houston Chronicle ranked her among the top three hairstylists in Houston. Her training covers master color work at the Wella Color Institute in New York, cutting and styling from the Aquage Academy and Vidal Sassoon Academy, makeup from The Perfect Face Makeup Academy, keratin smoothing (Brazilian Blowout, Keratherapy, Global Keratin, KERA RX), and eyelash extension work. Extension certifications come from six companies: Babe, Bellami, Beauvoir, Microlink, NBR and Great Lengths. Her extension methods include K-tip, beaded, tape-in and weft, plus the hidden bead method. Specialties are color, balayage, extensions, keratin smoothing, and updos and makeup, with a focus on brides. She spent 12 years as a national and international educator for Babe Hair Extensions, previously educated for Calura and Oligo on color and balayage, and previously taught two keratin smoothing systems. She also designed the Janelle Alexis Cosmetics makeup line.
