Ivar Roth

Ivar Roth holds a D.P.M. and a Master of Public Health and works as a podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon. He founded Concierge Podiatry & Spa in Costa Mesa. He has been in practice since 1985 and has more than 40 years of experience treating Orange County patients. Early in his career, Dr. John Homan, a Newport Beach sports medicine specialist who has since retired, mentored him. At Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, where he has been on active staff since 1985, he was the first podiatric surgeon granted full surgical privileges. He also founded the Orange County Chapter of the American Academy of Private Physicians and served as its first president. He earned his undergraduate degree at Cal State Fullerton and graduated from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. A three-year residency in foot and ankle surgery under Dr. Lowell Weil at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago followed, where he served as chief resident. He later earned a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois. He is board-certified in foot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. His practice includes bunion correction, including minimally invasive MiniLock correction for qualified patients and non-surgical alternatives, along with foot and ankle surgery. He treats nail fungus and other nail disorders, having developed the Nailcur system and the Paincur pain management treatment. He offers laser therapy for toenail fungus and regenerative medicine for chronic foot and ankle pain, including damaged Achilles tendons, ankle sprains and osteoarthritis, using platelet-rich plasma injections and stem cell options. He also performs KeryFlex nail restoration, medical pedicures and FootAlign consultations for flat feet and foot pain. He created the NeuropathyCur program and offers online consultations for neuropathy symptoms.
