Dr. Ivar Roth

Ivar Roth is a board-certified foot and ankle surgeon who founded Concierge Podiatry & Spa in Costa Mesa. He has been in practice since 1985 and has more than 40 years of experience treating Orange County patients. At Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, where he has been on active staff since 1985, he was the first podiatric surgeon to receive full surgical privileges. He also founded the Orange County Chapter of the American Academy of Private Physicians and served as its first president. He studied at Cal State Fullerton as an undergraduate, then trained at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. His three-year foot and ankle surgery residency took place at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago under podiatric surgeon Dr. Lowell Weil, where he was chief resident. Early in his career, sports medicine specialist Dr. John Homan of Newport Beach trained and mentored him. He holds a D.P.M. and a Master of Public Health from the University of Illinois. Much of his work focuses on regenerative options for foot and ankle conditions, including autologous and allogeneic stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma injections. He developed the Nailcur system for toenail fungus and other nail disorders, pioneered Paincur, a non-invasive pain treatment, and created NeuropathyCur for numbness and pain. He also performs bunion correction, including the MiniLock procedure for qualified patients, along with complex foot surgery. His practice has been a pioneer in concierge podiatry, and he is one of the few podiatric surgeons in Orange County who perform autologous harvest and application in the office.
