Dr. Steven Rueda

Dr. Steven Rueda is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Precision Medical Specialists and is double board certified in plastic surgery. He has about 10 years of surgical experience and has performed more than 2,500 procedures. His focus is aesthetic plastic surgery of the body and face, and he performs surgical and non-surgical procedures on the face, body and breast. He also specializes in male cosmetic surgery, applying advanced plastic surgery techniques to facial and body procedures for men.

He trained in the initial group of integrated plastic surgery residents at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and his medical education was at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He was part of the surgical teams for two face transplants at the Cleveland Clinic. He is Chief of Plastic Surgery at St. Mary's Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Florida Atlantic University. He moved back to south Florida to join the practice and serve the Palm Beach community.

He has published peer-reviewed articles on aesthetic surgery and skin cancer. He scored in the top 1 percent on the US national plastic surgery exam, received the Cleveland Clinic Educational Excellence distinction twice, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society at the University of Miami. He also received the Presidents Honor Roll award eight times. He treats patients as he would his own family.
