Dr. Katherine Chiang

Dr. Katherine Chiang is a board-certified dermatologist with Precision Medical Specialists, where she provides cosmetic and general dermatology. Her practice covers diagnosing and treating conditions of the skin, hair and nails, and she has experience with benign, precancerous and cancerous skin lesions. She also offers cosmetic and laser dermatology and sees patients aged seven and older.

She earned a medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and also holds a degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University. Her dermatology training was at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Department of Dermatology, where she trained in adult, pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, along with dermatopathology.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She has presented at national dermatology meetings, including the American Academy of Dermatology Gross and Microscopic Symposium in 2017 and 2019. Her articles have appeared in peer-reviewed titles, among them the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology. Her honors include a grant from the American Academy of Dermatology and the Dermatologic Society of Singapore, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery resident scholarships in 2016, 2017 and 2018, and the Sigma Xi Research Society Senior Thesis Award.
