Dr. R. Scott Yarish, MD

Dr. R. Scott Yarish, MD is the founder and director of Town & Country Plastic Surgeons and a plastic surgeon at the Houston practice, which also includes a medspa he supervises. He is double board-certified, with certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and is a member or fellow of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association and The Aesthetic Society. He received the 2017 Physician Exemplary Award from Memorial Hermann Medical Missions.

He completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin in 1978, and completed his internship at the University of Oregon in 1979. His work covers surgical and non-surgical procedures for the face, breast and body. Facelift surgery is one of his specialties. His primary procedures have shifted toward facial work, though he still performs tummy tucks and mommy makeovers, and earlier in his career he performed a high volume of breast augmentations.

He has refined his surgical techniques over the years to meet patients' needs, and he keeps overall health and well-being in view alongside cosmetic results. He believes aesthetic balance and good taste are central to successful outcomes, qualities he sees as built over a career. Many long-standing patients have stayed with him for decades and returned for further procedures. He has announced his retirement from plastic surgery, effective November 15, 2026.
