Dr. Janak Parikh

Dr. Janak Parikh is a double board-certified plastic surgeon at Town & Country Plastic Surgeons + Medspa in Houston, Texas. His listed credentials are MD and MSHS. He joined the practice in 2024, after seven years as a general and hepatobiliary surgeon. He is board certified in general surgery through the American Board of Surgery, a certification first earned in April 2012 and renewed in 2024, and he became board certified in plastic surgery in November 2024. His training runs from an undergraduate biochemistry degree at UCLA, awarded magna cum laude with departmental honors, through a medical degree from the University of California, San Diego. His research interests include infection prevention in breast surgery and newer strategies for autologous breast reconstruction, and he has published peer-reviewed articles ranging from pancreatic surgery to microsurgical breast reconstruction. He serves on several American Society of Plastic Surgeons committees, including the Legislative Advocacy Committee, the Resident Council and PlastyPAC. He sees patients from across Houston's communities and is accepting new patients at both of the practice's locations.
