Dr. R. Scott Yarish

Dr. R. Scott Yarish is the founder and director of Town & Country Plastic Surgeons + Medspa in Houston, and he is set to retire from plastic surgery effective November 15, 2026. He holds an MD and is double board-certified, with certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He is a member or fellow of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association and The Aesthetic Society.

His training began with medical school at the University of Wisconsin in 1978, followed by an internship at the University of Oregon in 1979 and a general surgery residency there. He works on surgical and non-surgical procedures for the face, breast and body, and facelift surgery is one of his specialties. He also performs tummy tucks and mommy makeovers. Breast augmentation was once his main procedure, and his work has since shifted toward facial procedures. He holds an admitting affiliation with Houston Methodist Hospital and Houston Methodist West Hospital.

He founded The Crystal Foundation in 1993 to provide reconstructive surgery for children in Guerrero, Mexico. He received the 2017 Physician Exemplary Award from Memorial Hermann Medical Missions, and he is a frequent guest on Great Day Houston. He has guided the med spa's growth into wellness services.
