Dr. Mounir M. Wassef

Dr. Mounir M. Wassef is a board-certified dermatologist who heads the clinical team at the practice. He has many years of experience across all dermatology services. He works as the cosmetic dermatologist at both the Wellington and Delray Beach locations. He is also a board-certified Mohs surgeon, removing skin cancers with Mohs micrographic surgery.

His surgical practice covers Mohs surgery for cancers in delicate areas of the face, excisional surgery, reconstructive skin surgery, and removal of benign growths, cysts, skin tags and warts. He completed further training to qualify as a Mohs surgeon. When a condition needs a multidisciplinary response, he works alongside the patient's primary care physician.

For neuromodulator and filler treatments, he first takes a medical history and marks the areas to be treated. Digital photographs are then taken so that results before and after treatment can be compared.
