Dr. Michael Chiaramonte is the Medical Director of Bella Cosmetic Surgery in National Harbor. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon and a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has more than 20 years of experience.

He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland and a medical degree from its School of Medicine. He then trained in a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and he has completed extensive coursework in general surgery. He once served as a clinical instructor of plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins, where he operated and lectured on breast augmentation and abdominoplasty. Previously he was chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. His medical publications and journal articles are matched by talks at regional and national conferences.

His work spans the face, breasts and body. He performs breast augmentation, implant exchange, breast lift, breast reduction and male breast reduction, and he designed and implemented the Bella Body Lift. He also administers Dysport to the eyes, forehead and eyebrows and takes a keen interest in non-surgical methods that keep downtime short. He welcomes patients from Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia and often works in Alexandria, Virginia.
