Dr. Chiaramonte

Dr. Chiaramonte is the Medical Director of Bella Cosmetic Surgery in National Harbor, Maryland. He has more than 20 years of experience. He is board-certified in plastic surgery, holds a diplomate certification from The American Board of Plastic Surgery, and is a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons. He earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Maryland and a medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

He trained through a plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and took substantial coursework in general surgery. Earlier he was a clinical instructor of plastic surgery at Johns Hopkins, operating and teaching on abdominoplasty and breast augmentation. He later chaired the Department of Plastic Surgery at Southern Maryland Hospital Center. He has published medical articles and journal papers and speaks at regional and national conferences.

His practice centers on the face, breasts and body. In breast surgery he offers augmentation, implant exchange, breast lift, breast reduction and male breast reduction, and he designed and introduced the Bella Body Lift. He is keenly interested in nonsurgical options that require less recovery time. Before he recommends a body contouring procedure, he meets each patient one on one to understand their needs and goals. He holds executive membership in The National Capital Society of Plastic Surgeons and belongs to The American Society of Plastic Surgery. He sees patients in National Harbor and frequently in Alexandria, Virginia, serving people from Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia for surgical and nonsurgical consultations.
