Dr. Claudia Harsh is a physician with an MD who teaches RYT 200 classes at iShine. She is board certified in Ob-Gyn and in Integrative and Holistic Medicine. She previously served as Director of Integrative Gynecology at the Alliance of Integrative Medicine in Cincinnati, and she built a female cancer survivorship program for Texas Oncology at Sammons Cancer Center, Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. She trained in Medical Acupuncture through the Helms Medical Institute at UCLA and completed the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She has more than 18 years of clinical acupuncture experience. She is a Certified Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance, completed her teacher training at iShine, and has written a book on integrative gynecology. She teaches that yoga helps the body develop self-regulation via postures, breathing, meditation and relaxation, and she aims to build those skills through connection, respect and trust.
