Dr. Alisha Kamboj

Dr. Alisha Kamboj works at MOPSS as a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon. Her M.D. is from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, followed by an internship at Kettering Medical Center. During ophthalmology residency she was chief resident in the final year, and afterward she finished an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota. She also has advanced training in plastic surgery of the face, orbit, eyes, and lacrimal system, and the American Board of Ophthalmology has certified her. Clinically she focuses on eyelid surgery, skin cancer reconstruction, orbital disease, facial trauma, tear drainage disorders, and aesthetic rejuvenation. Her publication record includes more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and multiple book chapters, and she has presented research at national and international medical meetings. She belongs to the Minnesota Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
