Caro Alva is a cut and color specialist at Oko. She has a decade of experience as a stylist. She completed cosmetology school directly after high school, then worked behind the chair as a stylist and managed several barbershops in the northwest suburbs.

She works with all lengths and textures, including curly and coily hair. Her barbering and grooming work includes fades and beard shaping. Cut skills include short textured pixies, mullets, shags, precision bobs and soft long layers. In color, she specializes in creative color placement, double process blondes and vivid color transformations.

Haircuts start at $90 for a short or barbered cut, $100 for a haircut and $120 for a curly cut. Bang trims and hairline clean-ups start at $30 and new bangs at $40. Root touch-up and style start at $115, all-over color and style at $155 and gloss or toner and style at $105. Partial highlight or balayage and style start at $210, and full highlight or balayage and style at $225. Blowdry styling starts at $65 and blowdry with iron styling at $75. Double process, vivid and corrective color are priced by consultation.
