Alexa Littlejohn Tanner

Alexa Littlejohn Tanner is a family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) who provides dermatologic care at the practice. She is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and licensed through the State of Maryland, and she has worked in dermatology since 2015. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida, graduating with highest honors and named an Anderson Scholar of Highest Distinction, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, graduating with highest honors. She received the Francile E. Clark Merit Scholarship and the Alma Hunt/VCM Geriatric grant. She also worked at the UF Health Hospital burn unit, performing thousands of burn dressings. She is affiliated with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She specializes in complete body examinations, minor surgical procedures, and evaluating and diagnosing a wide range of general dermatologic concerns. She also helps patients with PRP diagnosis and treatment planning.
