The Sisterlocks™ Package is spread across three visits. The consultation looks at hair care history, styling preferences and lifestyle, and includes installing 8 to 12 sample locks. The locking session forms locks without extensions, chemicals, or traditional locking products, using a Sisterlocks™ tool; it can run 10 to 20 hours or longer, depending on hair length and density. The follow-up comes after at least two washes, usually within a month of the locking session, and covers checking the locks, retightening, and estimating how long they will take to settle.

Reties + Maintenance is for clients with Sisterlocks™ or any micro interlocking system. Retightening is recommended every four to six weeks at first, with timing adjusted as the locks mature. Clients transferring from another provider need a consultation before maintenance begins. New clients receive a starter kit with Sisterlocks™ starter shampoo, small rubber bands, and tip sheets on grooming and shampooing.

Locks are formed by hand with a Sisterlocks™ tool, without extensions, chemicals, or traditional locking products.
