The studio is owned by Kellie Phillips and sits in a suite in McKinney. Services are grouped into take-down add-ons, braids, loc services, natural hair styles, a consultation, and styling options. Many of the styles are protective styles such as knotless braids, Fulani braids, twists, and faux locs.

Every service includes a wash. Clients either arrive with their previous style already removed or book a take-down so the stylist can remove it. Hair is not supplied for most braid and twist styles, so clients should plan for their own hair or extensions as the style requires. Some services need a $20 deposit to secure the appointment, and no one is booked until the deposit arrives.

The studio aims for a calm, welcoming visit where clients leave feeling refreshed and confident. Guests who are not being serviced are not allowed in the studio. Appointments outside regular hours are possible through an after-hours slot for an extra fee, and clients check availability with the salon directly. Late arrivals get a 10-minute grace period, after which the appointment may be moved or canceled. Changes made less than 24 hours ahead carry a fee.
