Zior Studios

Zior Studios opened in December 2019 in Houston and launched with four additional booths. Megan McKinley owns the salon. Before opening it, she worked as an assistant, a commission-based stylist, a booth renter, and a suite owner.

Services are grouped into booking categories built around natural and protective styling. These include several braid styles such as knotless, box braids with cornrows, feed-in, and crochet, along with twists, locs, men's braids, and Afro Goddess Twists. Alongside those, the salon offers consultations, shampoo services, classes, a silk press experience, and suite rental.

Prices are not fixed. The salon notes they may change without notice and vary with hair length and thickness. Hours run Tuesday through Friday from 9am to 8:30pm and Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Sunday appointments carry an additional $100 fee, and Monday appointments are available on request for a $50 fee.

Clients should know that no refunds are given. For an issue with hair, contact the salon within 48 hours. Booking an appointment means agreeing to the salon's terms and policies. The online shop offers free shipping on orders of $75 and up.
