Zinke Hair Studio opened its first location in Boulder, Colorado, in 2011. According to the salon's social posts, a mother and daughter founded it. It has since grown to three locations, with a Ponte Vedra Beach salon opened in 2023 and a newer Jacksonville location in St. John's Town Center. The business is women-owned. Jolene Zinke, a former event planner, manages day-to-day operations, and Megan Robertson oversees marketing and educational initiatives. Robertson is a national color educator for Aveda and has 18 years of experience as an Aveda professional.
