Zapped By Rose

Studio in Canyon Lake, CA

Zapped By Rose provides electrolysis, a permanent hair removal method that targets one hair at a time. The practitioner inserts a fine, sterile probe into each follicle opening, applies a brief electrical current to disable the cells that grow the hair, and then lifts out the treated hair. Since the technique doesn't rely on pigment, it works regardless of skin tone or hair shade, from fair, red, grey or white strands to darker ones. It is also an option for hairs that persist after laser sessions.

About

Zapped By Rose provides electrolysis, a permanent hair removal method that targets one hair at a time. The practitioner inserts a fine, sterile probe into each follicle opening, applies a brief electrical current to disable the cells that grow the hair, and then lifts out the treated hair. Since the technique doesn't rely on pigment, it works regardless of skin tone or hair shade, from fair, red, grey or white strands to darker ones. It is also an option for hairs that persist after laser sessions.

Every new client starts with a consultation, which is required before a first treatment. The first visit combines a consultation and a treatment session, and covers the client's goals, any questions, and a suggested session length and schedule. Because hair grows in cycles, electrolysis takes a series of appointments. The plan depends on the area being treated, hair density, growth cycles, hormones, and how the hair responds. The site notes that results vary and that multiple treatments are needed.

Clients can expect some heat or a small sting with each hair, and sensitivity differs by person and area. Breaks can be taken and session length can be adjusted for comfort. Mild redness, tenderness, or swelling can occur after a session, and small scabs or temporary changes in skin color may appear. Clients who are considering numbing cream are asked to discuss it with the electrologist before their appointment.

Pricing is by session length: 15 minutes is $45, 30 minutes is $65, 45 minutes is $85, 60 minutes is $105, 75 minutes is $130, 90 minutes is $150, and 120 minutes is $180. The $35 consultation fee is waived when a treatment session follows immediately.

Clients are asked to arrive hydrated and rested with clean skin in the treatment area, to leave enough visible hair for the electrologist to work with, and to avoid tweezing or waxing between appointments. Bookings are made by text, and a valid card on file is required to reserve a time. Cancellations or changes with at least 24 hours notice are accepted. Cancellations with less notice, missed appointments, and late arrivals are charged the full appointment fee, and ending a session early does not reduce the payment. Repeated cancellations can result in losing the standing appointment slot.

The studio aims to help clients feel comfortable, informed, and supported through their treatment.
