Illume Electrolysis

Illume Electrolysis, based in a suite in Canyon Lake, offers permanent hair removal by electrolysis. People arrive from across the area, including Canyon Lake itself and communities such as Lake Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Temecula, Murrieta, Perris, Sun City and Hemet, as well as the broader Inland Empire. Every skin type, hair color and background is welcome, and the practice sees people regardless of gender.

Visits begin with a consultation of about 15 to 30 minutes, which covers skin and hair type, a likely treatment timeline, aftercare guidance and an overview of pricing. Each treatment plan is shaped around the client's skin, hair and goals. Treatments are carried out in a private, comfortable suite inside a salon suites building. Facial sessions run 15 to 60 minutes. Smaller areas such as the underarms may need 8 to 12 sessions, while larger areas such as the legs may need more.

Each hair follicle is treated with a sterile, disposable probe. Before a facial treatment, hair should be grown to at least 1/8 inch, and waxing or tweezing should be avoided for two to three days. Afterward, the practice suggests skipping makeup for 24 hours, avoiding direct sun, and using a gentle cleanser, aloe vera or a recommended soothing cream, along with SPF 30+ sunscreen.
