Zyria became interested in waxing at 17 and began learning the techniques through training after school and on weekends. By high school graduation she was already providing wax services and building a clientele. She later attended an esthetics school, holds a license in esthetics, and worked and managed wax salons in the Atlanta area before opening Z Beauty & Wax Company.

Brow services include eyebrow waxing, fill, tinting, a combined tint and wax, and keratin brow lamination. The women's menu runs from small areas such as the upper lip up to full body packages, and the men's menu spans small zones through to the Signature Groom and Premium Full Body options.

Special appointment requests are made by text to Zyria. Depending on the time and day wanted, a surcharge may apply, and it is explained before the time is agreed. Cash, Zelle, Apple Pay and Venmo are accepted.

Clients should reschedule at least 24 hours ahead to avoid a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled price. A no-show or no-call is charged the full appointment cost to the card on file, and clients more than 15 minutes late may be moved to a later time or another day. Regular waxing every three to four weeks is recommended to keep up with hair growth.

Wax type is matched to the area and the hair: hard wax is used on the face and coarser hair, and soft wax on finer hair such as legs and brows.
