Younique Lashes & Skyn Bar started in Laredo as Eclipse Lashes and has since expanded to San Antonio, where it operates as a lash and spa lounge. According to the salon, it is a full-service lash and spa lounge. The founder holds certification as a lash artist and has completed advanced training in brow lamination and skincare. The team has more than eight years of experience concentrated on lash extensions.

The studio's stated goal is to enhance a client's natural beauty while keeping each natural lash healthy and intact. Classic lash extensions are applied one-to-one to each natural lash. YY lash extensions use a split, Y-shaped tip that attaches to the natural lash for a lighter, fuller look. A Lash Lift curls natural lashes upward with a gentle perming solution, without extensions or curlers, and a lash tint can be added to it. Lash Lift results generally last about four to eight weeks, depending on the client's lash growth cycle.

Brow Lamination and skincare services round out the menu. Memberships start at $115. New clients should arrive 15 minutes early to complete paperwork, and any paperwork time not finished beforehand is taken out of the appointment.

The studio also runs a one-day, hands-on classic lash extension training course. It includes a full day of instruction, a starter kit, a training manual, lunch and a certificate of completion, and students bring their own model for the application portion. The certificate is not a Texas professional license and does not allow students to perform lash services in Texas, so anyone who plans to work professionally must meet Texas licensing requirements first.
