Yasmeen Salon has served Katy since 2009 and works from two addresses: a main location on Cinco Ranch Boulevard and a second on South Mason Road. The menu is broad, covering haircuts, color and highlights, blowdries, a Brazilian Blowout treatment, facials, party and bridal makeup, threading, ear and nose piercing, and waxing.

Hair services are grouped into cutting, coloring and styling. Cuts and blowdries are priced by hair length, from short to long. Color options run from root touch-ups and full color to T-section and long-hair T highlights and full highlights. Treatments include deep conditioning, hot oil and a protein treatment. The salon also offers natural protein hair masks in coconut milk, avocado and egg, banana and yogurt, and yogurt and egg blends, which are booked by appointment only.

The facial menu ranges from a quick skin polish to longer named treatments, including fruit, herbal, pearl, silver, diamond and 24K gold facials, plus options named for skin whitening, fairness, anti-ageing, brightening and acne prevention. Facial visits take about an hour.

Makeup services include party makeup, party makeup with eye makeup and lashes, and a bridal package priced at $280 that includes a quick facial, hairstyling and threading. Makeup appointments are booked by phone. Piercings for the cartilage, ear and nose are offered to both children and adults, and the salon says its piercing jewelry is sterilized. Waxing covers underarms, face, arms, legs, back and Brazilian areas.
