Every appointment starts with a one-on-one consultation. Starter Locs require a consultation first, and consultations themselves cannot be booked alongside other services. Larger loc work carries deposits: Loc Reset requires $200, and the day is not held until that deposit arrives, while a Microloc Install takes a $350 deposit. The Brazilian Blowout asks for $100 down.

The salon says it follows high standards for its products and tools. Shampoo services use Yaila's Signature Shampoo, and natural hair styles finish with soothing oils applied after the dryer set.
